shedding question

just want to know what are some signs of an upcoming shed?

to be honest. My cham gets a little stressed prior and during its shed. It displays darker shades usually.

Mine doesn't eat as much and does this weird thing where he puffs up all the way and puffs out his chin pouch and opens his mouth as wide as it will go and wiggles at the same time. It's almost like he's trying to "pop" the old skin off or something. He'll do this alot when he's about to shed

Mine does the same thing!! He also turns super brown and it almost looks like he's dislocating his body... He makes air sounds too like he's exhaling loudly... he just does it randomly when no one's there sometimes...

when they shed or are about to-

the skin goes very white, ashy loooking, like they rolled in gravel dust.

it also can look very dry, like they need lotion.
