Shedding Question

This may be a dumb question. But as I'm watching my baby panther shed, (this is the second time within 5 weeks) a thought just occured to me. When a cham sheds, can it be assumed that the cham is healthy? I'm thinking that's a yes as he's growing and developing. I never put much thought into it until now and was searching and couldn't really find anything exact. What do you think?

my vieled baby is an approximate 3 months old, according to the store where I purchase him and has been in my care for 3 weeks. I just noticed his first shed today, unknown how often he shed while in the pet store, if any and I was wondering how the last piece of skin, between his casque and his nose, right between the eyes will come off?

I noticed him stretching several times throough out the day as well as crawling in between the leaves and branches and that help with getting off 99% of the old skin just left that diamond shape on his head. Will it come off on its own or is there some sort of lotion that i can apply to him without having to pull it off?

By 3 months old, he's shed a few times. I wouldn't worry about it, it will eventually come off by itself in the next few days. This is completely normal. Good luck :)

Leave your baby alone!! He/she will shed on there own just fine.Make sure he/she is well hydrated. Dehydration is the main cause of shedding issues. A well hydrated baby can shed in hours, its common for tail,or leg skin to linger a bit longer.
