Shedding Question

My veild is 2 months old now, and is shedding for the first time in my care. I have left him alone so far, but now there is a small piece of the skin that has gotten stuck in his eye. It is affecting his hunting because he cannot see the cricket clearly. What is a safe way to get the piece of skin off, if I should?

Poor baby. I would first try some extra long warm misting to see if he can wash it out himself. If he can't then you can try taking a q-tip that's moist with warm water and see if you can gently wipe it out.
