Shedding problems with Panther

My Panther is a year old in since april and he started a new shed about two weeks ago although the only part of him that shed were his arms and legs. There is a bit of white skin on the top of his head that is seems to be slowly coming up but it's been there since he started to shed. I have increased the humidity in his cage and I started to spray him now and again with warm water aswell as putting him in the shower more often over the past two weeks but nothing has changed. I have ordered the repti shed aid for him but I'm not sure how good it'll be.

Also he went to the vet about 3 weeks ago before this shed and the vet said he's grand except for his yellow mouth. The vet wasn't to familiar with panthers so he wasn't sure if it was his natural colour. i did check this out and from looking at photos of him when he was younger he has always had a yellow mouth.He gave me Batrol incase it was jaundice but I don't think so now

SOunds like you are on the right track with the shedding by bumping up the humidity. It is not uncommon for chameleons to shed in sections as they get older. I have not used the product you are referring to, so I cannot helpyou there.
As for the Baytril, I wouldn't use that "just in case". I personally wouldn't use any meds as a "just in case scenario". Most of my panthers have yellow mouths, this is not uncommon. And if you said it has been like that since he was small, I am sure he is just fine.

Thanks for the replies lads, happy enough that the mouth colour is natural now. For the shedding problem, I received that shedding aid today but I got home too late to use it on him so ill check it out tomorrow and let u know how I got on. Also ill stop using that medication on him, I don't think I need it anyway seeing as it was for the supposed yellow mouth problem. Thanks again, Tony
