Hey, i walked into my house tonight after work, and noticed i left my window open so it might have been a little cold for him since his cage is right next to it....the temp where he was at was around 64degrees, i looked at him and he was pretty much almost white lol....I think hes shedding but have never seen this stage of shedding yet...Ive seen him shed just not this stage...

Is that what this white is ?? or Is it because he was cold??Pics arent the clearest

Looks like a good shed to me.

I agree. Chameleo had some cracks in his backs like that before he busted out. It wasn't THAT cold out tonight, even here closer to the beach it doesn't drop past 60 until later in the night.

Anyways, tomorrow morning he is gonna have a new coat, and his little brother will be a step behind, once again. But seeing yours is like a looking glass into the future, I dig it.

Haha thanks man...Yeah its fun....well he was kinda crawling around , I can tell hes was trying to get some of it off....But now hes calmed down and laying on a branch with the tail curled up :) haha...Should i turn the lights off or leave them on a little longer for him??

Let him have his rest. I have my lights on at 7 and off at 7. He seems to have his own schedule everyday though. Sometimes its bed by 5, sometimes 7. Sometimes he is up at 6am, perhaps earlier, sometimes at 7pm he finally starts moving. He won't start moving to bed or out of it unless he has some ambient light from the sun or the timers come on.

All I know is the light schedule probably gives him some sense of normalcy along with the oustide light of the sun providing a dimming effect at an expected time everyday.

Correct Cham. Though my cham won't sleep until about an hour after the lights go off, it's good to have a schedule.

Mist him a couple more times tomorrow to ease his shed.

Doing so, and thanks! :P

I woke up this morning and turned his lights on and hes up and roaming his cage now, trying to finish his shed. I think its funny watching them climb around trying to finish off their shed. They look so determined to get it off ASAP

Anyway thanks again to who all responded to this post !
