Shedding at 3 Months?

My chameleon started to shed on his tail today, and it looks like he is shedding all the way down to his toenails, is that normal for him to be this young and shed? Also, do tehy normally shed all the way down to the tips of their feet?

At 3 months of age he might have shed 3 or 4 times already since hatching...He will shed a lot during the first year of his life, after that the shedding will become less and less because he wont be growing anymore...

Ahh good to know, I didn't think they shed until around 6 months for the first time.

Do I need to do anything special during his shed?

I would say to just keep the humidity where it needs to be. Around 60%, if its really dry he wont have a good shed.

When chams shed I like to add a bit more humidity in their cage, just by spraying more often.

I live in AZ and it's really dry here, when I let the cage dry out between mistings the humidity drops to about 45%, but every few hours I get it back up to 60-80% humidity and it stays like that for an hour or so.
