Shedding and Stress?

My juvenile veiled chameleon just finished his first shedding this afternoon. Yesterday he was shaking and seemed weaker than normal. I misted him with warm water 3 times a day to help with shedding. Now that he's finished, he's not eating, and his color is darker than before. Is this from shedding, or could he be sick?

I've never seen my chameleon as dark as the first time he shed under my care. It was just like one night he exploded and looked like a little mummy. Under all the skin, though, he was freaking out.

That said, once his shedding was over with he pretty quickly resumed normal chameleon duties and colors. Coupled with the shaking, I'm a little concerned and won't write this off. If it were just the coloration or just the not eating I might be more apt to say it's nothing, but the shaking? Not sure i've heard of that after a shed.
