Her first shed since I got her she's around 7-8 months old how long do you think before she will start to lay? Any subsections for first time egg laying and making her more comfortable?
Panther named Jesse :)

Once u feeding her more she shall be soon to get more weight on her ready to lay, dont forget to dust the feeder with calcium, she needs all the calcium she can get to absorb in the egg shell, start planning, laying bin etc ,and dont handle her as much as u did before.

She gets. Dusted everyday, do suggest any greens/veggies? I find panthers don't like them as much just to give her a small change up in diet once and awhile, also she seems to not poop unless she gets a shower? I'm confused by it and don't want her to become stuffed up and sick

Ur panther might not eat any vegetables, greens, but ur roach n crickets will, and the best part is all the good nutritions are ending in ur chams stomach after she eat those gutloaded feeders, plus vegetables help the digestive system ,u be surprised the next day comes a beautiful poop inside that cage, instead on the shower day only,ur cham will thank u for doing that n be more actively.

The crickets have constant access to gut loading veggies she still doesn't until shower time she has a dripper into a plant into a small dish and then back down to to bucket for water her cage is misted when needed as well she's strange lol

Just little pepples in the water on the shallow side invade a cricket falls in , there's a 2 - 2 1/2 inch deep side as well for more water and she drinks from it but also licks leaves when she gets misted

They are just there for looks and in the event a cricket jumps out of the dish and then goes into the water they don't drown

Well to be honest with u, I like the looks but its not useful, when the bacteria start growing inside that pebbles dish water, and ur beautiful chamy start taking a lick on that water with all the crickets poops or something bad u cant even see with our human eyes, that when the trouble began, plus she is around 7to 8months old, time to let her become a "woman" chamy, her desire to lay eggs will be more than me or you looking at the pebble rock, plus that will be a better spot for u to put ur laying bin on it,just in case she need to carrying her Dams duty ,the shape of those pearl white color eggs will always make me n u smile that she is a such delicate mama chamy even without her lover male cham around n its great for her to let all those eggs out peacefully in that laying bin you going to provide her with it.

I can't wait for her to lay eggs lol I'm just a small bit stressed that since it will but her first clutch she won't want to/know what to do she might go egg bound

Dont worry,as long u provide what she needs, laying bin with non color playsand or non chemical soil around 10inches deep more or less, she will learn to do her deed, she will start pacing around in that cage up n down so put some branches to let her access the laying bin easily then give her as much privacy as she needs.
Usually she will start eating less or completely,n start digging in that bin u provide her,and this is a crucial time not to disturb her or she will start having trouble to lay, give her space so she can let all her eggs out in the stomach.

Okay :) she has a bin in there now with coconut substrate until I can get organic soil it's been in there for a bit now I've seen her a few times standing on the edge

Coconut substrate wont do her any good,is like u giving a cat with a dog bone ,if u not busy right now, please drive to a home depot or Lowe n go to the garden section buy the natural playsand or non chemical soil so u can make her happy in this Valentine's weekend, remember give her lots space, she needs to focus on her first laying skill.

I've looked around I have to wait until spring time :/
I was wondering where did u go,U really drove out there to the store trying to buy the sand and soil.....Geee,I didnt tell u to go right away n I hope there is no snow or traffic to make it more difficult....u know there are stuff u can order online or call ahead before u leave to the store just to make sure they have it in stock....now I really feel bad ,cause u were gone to the store n u didnt get anything in return....

And thank God alphakenc is not a bad person, cause if i tell u to feed ham n cheese sandwich to ur cham,u probably will go to that deli n buy the ham n cheese right away Ha,which Im just kidding about this ham n cheese thing,But I do appreciate U are making an effort by listening to my playsand n soil advice n make that drive to the store , I wish my pet bird can listen to me like u,they dont stop chirping unless I put a towel over their cages:rolleyes:

Haha I looked around for soil a week before I bought her on January 6th I believe and all stores told me they had nothing until spring including Kents and Home Depots and as well as Canadian tire and other stores and garden stores are closed -.- hopefully Canadian tire gets a shipment in soon lol and lol I enjoy advice on how to better the life of my pets I learn and they live happier ;p and the ham and cheese is a no brainer but funny lol she's not my first Cham I had a 2 year old female veild for a few months then she past, I was doing my best to improve from the live she had before me she was in a 25 gallon tank or so when I got her :/ moved her to my 55g while I saved money to buy the cage I have now and just before I could buy it she past /: rest in paradise Olaf <3 but Jesse is very happy with life :)

No worries,u are doing fine with Jesse, try see if u can find some online in the mean time make sure u gutoad all ur feeder before u feed them to her n u deserve 5ham n cheese sandwiches for urself after that...No mayo though :D
