Shed stuck

My cham has a tiny piece of shed skin on one of his spikes on his back and won't come off. It's been there for about a week. I raised the humidity and soaked him in water and still nothing. Any ideas?

Take a moist q tip and gently rub it, if it doesnt come off its not ready just give it a bit more time. Try again in a few days

In addition to what Al already said, you can use a q-tip and dab a small amount of mineral oil or glycerin to free a stuck shed. I use this for stuck shed on the end of the tail which are notorious for being difficult especially with females for some reason. Put some on, wait an hour or so, then try gently rubbing with the q-tip again and it will usually come off.

Are there any health risks involved with a "stuck" shed or is it just that's it's not pleasing to the eye?

Do you think E45 cream would work?
