Shed Spot Won't Come Off

Hello there I have been q-tipping this boys arms for months now and this shed spot will not come off!! He just shed a couple weeks ago and I was REALLY hoping it would come off with that but it just made the spot a tad bigger. I am starting to a dark area around the spot so I think it may be time for the vet to remove it?

Again, I have tried q-tipping almost every day with warm water for months. Is there another trick that can help me do it on our own? His room is SO humid so I can't really increase that to help.. his humidity is always above 50%.

Try putting some lotion or cream with Aloe on it every night at bed time for a few nights and see if that helps.

i have the same problem, but his spot (under the dead skin that won't come off) is black ...

My vet told me to use mineral oil on a qtip. My one guy had some shed on his nose like that. It eventually softened up and came off.
