Shed some light?

I have a baby velied named Salidin who is 3 weeks old. I have him in a screened enclosure thats 20 inches high and about 17 by 17. I have a larger enclosure already thats 3 feet high and 20 by 20, I read for babies no more than 2 feet high. Can I put him right into the large enclosure or possibly put the 2 together when he's about 4 months?

my suggestion is to wait until he is 4-6 months for the bigger cage...but when he turns almost a year old ...its best to get a 24" x 24" x 48" screen cage for veiled males...

I agree that 4 to 6 months old he should be ready for the 48 inch high cage.
