So, I realised that Monty has not shed for 3 months now. His last shed was at 7 months old. I know that they do everything slower than other species, and thus, he shed every 6 - 8 weeks before that, whereas my female Veiled shed every 4 weeks until she got to 6 months then it reduced down to every 3 months.. How often to sub-adult/adult Xanths shed? His appetite has also slowed down in line with his age, which I expected to happen, but he still seems so small to me! I guess I am still trying to get my head around owning a smaller species! Monty is my first Jacksons and also my first male that I have had from a baby.
