Okay... So yesterday before I got them all their new plants McLovin's female was showing pretty receptive colors so I thought I would let him give it a shot. I got the PS ready on video, don't think this is good enough for the video contest but it is worth asking you guys what you think. I put him in and filmed him flirting for awhile... Normally he is a lot more intense with his head bobbing. She looked like she might have it... but then she started looking a little stressed... I stopped filming... and let them have their privacy... but as soon as he got close it was obvious she wouldn't have it and I took him out. Let me know what you think.

This would also be a great time for someone to teach me how to embed a video... I try pasting in the embed code from you tube but only the text shows.

Thanks Everyone!

you do this:
HTML:

That code is the video ID that can be found when viewing the movie on the youtube page after the "v=" in the address bar of your browser.

She was rocking back and forth right from the very beginning of the video. That's a good indication that she's not receptive. Next time that happens, I suggest taking the male out of there asap as you don't need added stress on your female.

Since the vid only shows part of the whole process it can lok misleading. Her colors were Pinker than I had ever seen... That is the only reason I tried again that day. When I tried for the first time last week... I didn't even put him in with her cause at the sight of his head bobbing she turned real dark and puffed up... So I put him back right away. The only reason he made it in there this time was beacuse before I put him in there I put him about a foot in front of her... and her receptive colors seemed to stick and she seemed impartial. So I put him up the on the plant and started filming... As she came up the the rope she did start to show signs that she was not receptive, But she did not darken like she had previously... And she normally rocks like that whenever I open her cage door like it was... This is why I stopped filming and closed the cage up for a minute while observing from accross the room. She just stared at him until he got a little closer which appeared to be a good thing, but once he was in her area she turned tail to move away so I immediately took him out. But, Thanks for the concern, Please know I am carefull to keep my chams from stressing.... This was the last time I will try to match these two for a couple months. Her colors were too peach not to try to give it a shot this time though. That and it's kind of funny... He hadn't even had a Glimpse of her in almots a week the other day and He was bobbing his head at me when I came into his cage to feed him. Every once in a while he just does that. There is no mirrors and no way that he can see any other Chams, hes just showing off his stuff.
