Hey guys just wanted to share my new baby ambanja panther with you. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. His name is not set in stone, but i think i have decided on Oliver Queen, Considering he is the vigilante of Cham City, as you can see in the third photo :). (Oliver Queen is Green Arrow)

Post a picture of the entire enclosure if you can.

I would remove some of the fake plants and replace them with live.

He looks good!

He is a little cutie! What kind of lights are you using? Do you have a basking light? If so, from what I can tell in the pics you have no vines or branches that are a close enough distance for him to warm up. There should be a horizontal branch that is about 8 inches down under the light. He needs heat to digest his food.

The little green loop on top right is the main basking spot, as well as on top of the back plant. both reach 83 degree basking temps. 75w reptispot basking lamp, exo-terra tropical uvb 100, 13 watt bulb.

I still would have a horizontal branch and make it as comfortable as possible for the little guy. He is going to grow fast and that loop will not work for long and the plant will not support his weight over time. Panthers can bask higher than 83 degrees so it is ok if the temp is higher by about 5 degrees or even more if you put the branch underneath it.

Alright thanks carol! I do have a 24x24x48 ready for him when he gets bigger...Is any stick from outside okay to use? Or should i run to the pet store and grab a branch. Thanks again,
zach.

Just wanted to say congrats on the little guy. He looks awesome. My first chameleon was an ambanja a long time back. Brings back memories. I'm sure yours will make you really happy. Make sure to post some pics as he grows up.
