Sexing Veileds

Hello all!
At what age can you tell the sex of a cham?? And how difficult is it to raise a cham that is 4-6 weeks old? What would I have to be cautious of the most? Do you recommend working with baby veileds?

Thanks,
~~G

Veileds are sexable at birth. Males have a 3rd toe or "spur" on their hind legs and females do not. My first cham was 5 weeks old when i got her and it wasnt really all that much more difficult to be honest. They are much more fragile but if you don't cut any corners on their husbandry you'll be fine. Make sure their temps are right, MIST THEM PLENTY, have a strict supplementing schedule down, and make sure you are feeding them feeders suitable for their size you have nothing to worry about.
