Setting up branches

How does everyone set up their loose branches?... Expecially the ones that go vertically across the cage. How do you get the branches to stay in place? I heard of thumb tacks but does anyone have better ideas?

I drill small holes in the end of the wood sticks then use fishing line to tie in the mesh. Or just tie a knot and run the fishing line thru the cage. It always helps having an extra hand.. I do use a few thumb tacks, but not many. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I use apple tree branches. I choose branches that are to my liking and turn them upside down and tie them to the screen cage with fish line.

I use fishing line for small to medium size species and magnets for the large species.
