Well today was a hard day. I put little Titus back in his box and shipped him back to the breeder. Elliot and Sandy were great and I thank them. They were great to work with. Titus was a good chameleon and was starting to show some spunk:). Hopefully all will go well with him back at his orginal home and he will get better quickly. Thanks for all the support and comments during my experience with Titus. You were all great!! Thanks again.

Again, sooo sorry Debbie... but keep us posted if you hear any news on Titus or if anything develops with a new Cham for you!

i havent been following or catching any previous posts, but why did you send him back? anyways, best of luck back to titus.

That is a bummer. At least you went with a great breeder who stands up to their word. It could have been much worse from some of these shady breeders out there. I am surprised you did not get a replacement but that is your decision. Things like this happen from time to time. Sometimes you just do not notice small problems before you ship. And if your like me you wait until the last second to pack the animal up so they dont have to stay in the box for longer than need be. In this time you are usually hurrying around, give a quick look over and pack it up. Chamsnorthwests animals are top notch and they are very nice people. Obviously there is no worries about purchasing from them. If you dont get what you want they take care of it!!

Sucks this was your first experience. Hopefully the next is better and if you do not choose a sponsor please go to faunaclassifieds BOI and check up on who you are purchasing from. There are a lot of shady breeders out there and as I said the experience could have been much worse:eek:

Sooo sorry to hear about Titus :( Hopefully the experience didn't sour you... because chams are really great to own and I'm sure your next experience will be better :)

So what actually ended up being wrong with Titus? Was it something serious then.? I know it was the growth but I guess I did not realize it was that bad. Sorry to hear it did not work for you and hopefully you will give it another try in the future!

HI cainschams, Yes. C/N was very good and I'd definately buy from them again. Thanks for your comments, I will keep that in mind.

Jaxygirl, Thanks and yes I am a little reserved about getting another cham. Just don't really know what to do at this point. If I were to buy one I would prefer one a little older.

Carol5208, I do not know exactly what was wrong with Titus's eye. It looked like a zit that needed to be popped. Maybe it is something simple and he will get back to normal. I hope so:) BTW, Thanks, Just not sure what I am going to do as far as a chameleon is concerned. So for now I'm just gonna wait.

Just shows how much chams northwests cares about their animals and their reputation. I would have and have considered buying from them before. This just seals the deal. They are good people. Lots of breeders would have said its past my TOS so its your problem. Gesang and Chams Northwest deserve some kudos for the way they handled the situation.

Well I'm sorry but it is great that both you and the breeder can do What's best. Hoping for the best with titus

Texas Panther Man, I couldn't have said it any better. Yes, Kudos to Chameleons Northwest (Gesang). I couldn't have dealt with nicer people. I would recommend anyone in the market for a cham to chat with them. They are great:D
Txskunk, Thanks for your comments. And yes I'm hoping for the best for Titus too.
