I have a older brother and he is really loud and annoying I would really love a senegal chameleon. I don't know what to do

Would the senegal chameleon be a good first time chameleon as a pet?

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of chameleons! I too have a brother and he is also loud and annoying sometimes lol.

In my opinion, a senegal chameleon is an ok choice for a first chameleons. The ones I have owned were wild caught and came to me in pretty bad shape, parasites, rubbing wounds, etc. Sometimes they take a little longer to acclimate.

Have you looked at the veileds or panther chameleons, they are a great beginner chams, and you can find captive bred individuals very easily.

I don't think you could get a captive bred Senegal so you would have to be prepared to acclimate a wild caught.

…wat? Random comment. lol

Just research the chameleon and figure out if you can afford to take care of one. Is there a reason you want a senegal chameleon? A loud human wouldn't bother the chameleon if he's in a different room or not intentionally trying to bother the chameleon. Chameleon's hearing aren't the best.

I would like a Senegal chameleon because they are smaller and the perfect size for me I have done a lot of research on them.

So would my brother not affect them? He is really loud and plays really really loud music,
Also,
Would I be able to find. Captive bread Senegal Cham if I looked really hard

The noise itself may not bother the cham much unless it is low frequency deep bass vibrations. Chams don't hear higher frequency sounds that well. But, if your brother will be around the cham's cage a lot or won't leave the cham alone, the cham could be disturbed too much watching all the activity.

He doesn't usually go into my room and that's were I would probebly keep the Cham
Would it be ok if I kept it in a screend cage

What would be best male or female
