hi i have had my lil senegal girl for about 2months now, and was 6 months when i had her, she was captive bred so as far as i know contains no parasites. I am housing her in a exo terra 30 cm x 30 cm x 45 cm i know it isn't ideal but i have a flexarium on the way this week which will give her plenty of room. Besides this the tempratures are what is required and she drinks everyday and eats plentyfull.

The problem i got is last two or three days when her lights come on she stays sleeping or what it seems be sleeping for couple hours, She aware when you move about in the tank and that, also she goes sleep before her lights are due of. I just wondering what it could be any help would be grateful

Did you get a fecal on her to make sure there are not parasites? As far as you know more than likely means she is WC. Sengals are tricky to keep, and stress easily. Are you handling her?

re

well i think she is captive bred to be honest has the man i had it of is trustworthy member of reptile forums uk. But i dont handle her much but now and then she comes to tank get out so i let her out for a run about the room. This is what the man before had explained to me that she likes come out and so on

IMHO she shouldn't be sleeping for a couple of hours after the lights go on...and then going to bed early too. Don't know why she's doing it though.

What type (spiral, compact, long linear tube) UVB light do you have!
You said..."the tempratures are what is required"...what do you think the temperature required is?

re

80 - 85 ambient temprature and 95 basking i do know tempratures im not a numpty and do research and we use a compact uv

I've kept a number of Senegals over the 20+ years of keeping chameleons and I usually keep the basking temperatures for Senegals in the mid 80's when possible. They can tolerate temperatures into the 90's for a bit if they are well watered.

Some compacts have been causing problems....you can look here to see if yours is one of them...
