Senegal breeding basics?

well it sorta is like that lol

you or the other guy dont want any "surprise gifts" after the deed is done, just eggs you want:p

i would rather you split the egg clutch in half and let each their own take responsibiilty of their eggs care and babies

Hm so I'm getting the 150 dollar incubator, the parasite check, some verm stuff, and we'll figure out the mating. If my power went out for a day would the eggs die?

well that depends...as long as the temps and humidty are good not really...but i wouldnt risk it, get a generator:p

glad panthers and veileds you can just use a dark ,room-temp closet:D

The problem with the eggs is that I plan on shipping her if we do end up breeding so splitting the eggs isn't quite possible.

in all fairness...why not both of you wait and save up and get the oppostie gender of your chams, and breed on your own....less trouble if you ask me:p

Well Karma wanted to get her boy bred so I offered to help :p. But I am going to try and breed her. Karma and I are both interested in documenting how to best keep Senegal eggs.

oic....wait who has the female???

it really is better if the eggs arent moved too much, if only both of you live closer to each other

i wouold rather ship a male than a female

He has the female, the original plan is to ship her here, they mate, she lays eggs, I incubate them, and she is returned when strong enough again.

Yes for sure. Usually that's the case but Karma was the one looking for a female. We're still just talking so there's no rush.

oic....hmmm thats a bit iffy if you ask me... might be weeks if not a couple months before the female would be back to normal again....and who knows if she might have a retained clutch

males are easier to deal with, but i see the situation you are in

i really hope for the best but all the details is all up to you two
