Semi-Newb, just my basic info and looking for any helpful suggestions

Ok. Then, when i get the new set up next week i will take out the substrate. I turned one of the infra reds off last night and kept the ceramic bulb on and the smaller infrared in the other corner opposite were he sleeps. The temp stayed fair but i think i will get another ceramic bulb just so i can sleep more soundly and not wake up every 2 hours to check the temp. Haha. Does anyone know of a website with a fairly priced drip system?

Mistking has a starter auto misting system for 99 bucks.
how cold is it getting at night?
they can take temps down to 60, and even down to 50, so long as they have a warm place in the mornings.

wondering

well the breeder who i got him from who had him for 2 years said that he liked it warmer than the others, his day time temps are between 75-80 and at night from what i have checked its between 65 and 70, which i am assuming is great cause everything i read says a 10 degree drop. Also i was wondering if anyone had every fed their veileds fruits or veggies, i know that some will eat them but im just not sure what is safe to try. Also i am going to start gut loading my feeders with fruits and veggies, i know that kale, carrots, apples and oranges are ok.

as long as temps do drop some, everything is good.
SOme chams will eat fruits and veggies, some wont.
Mine, wont touch anything that doesnt move of its own free will (meaning live bugs only).
If you can get yours to eat them, you can try strawberries, bell peppers, raspberries, banana, apples, mustard/collard greens, romaine. pretty much any of the fruits and veggies you gutload with.
I would find sandrachameleons blogs on gutloading.

Thanks, Camimom.
Yeah, i think temp and humidity are perfect now.
I know that he might not want to eat them but i figure it is worth a try and if not then i will just eat them. Ha.

Troubles with bulbs & wattage....?

OK, so thank you for all that have posted on this thread and helped me tramendously, i am now in the process of getting everything ready for a big order on friday of everything for the new set up. I am having troubles with a couple things though.

I have looked at a couple screen terarriums and decided on Zoo Med Reptibreeze aluminium screen cage 18X18X36. I think this will be the perfect size for Jango. I have also decided to buy two large pothos plants to hang and reptile carpet for the bottom. What i am having issues with is lights.

Right now i have 1 ceramic bulb that is on day and night, keeping temps up in my cold house. During the day i also have an 10'' UVB bulb running but i am unsure of the wattage on that...what wattage UVB bulb would you suggest? and i also have 2 infrareds on for light and heat perposes during the day, I have recently learned tha the infrareds are not giving him any UVA, so i was thinking of getting a exo terra sun-glow bulb to replace one of the infrareds but im unsure of what wattage to get?
