So I have recently done a test with my panther chameleon here are results.
Zoo med Powersun 100watt( temps 86-93)
Week 1: more activity than with previous 5.0 and 75 watt incandescent bulb.
Week 2: overall better appetite this week my 6mo male nosy be has eaten every day when offered food including crickets.

Zoo med reptisun 5.0 and 75 watt light( temps 85-93)
Week 1: no difference in behavior still active but towards end of the week stopped eating on sat-sun I offered him every prey item possible( dubia, superworms, crickets, waxworks, silkworms, laterallis, mealworms, hornworms.
Week 2: At beginning of week Cham ate 2superworms then started to act sluggish again and maybe ate a few crickets that were offered. His standing color is a lot darker again and seems to not be drinking as much water.

Solar raptor by mega Ray 100watt low UVB
Week 1: Same as before still lethargic eating sparaticly seems to be taking some more water by end of week colors seem to perk up a bit.
Week 2: Cham is back on the hunt bright blue colors and has become a chow hound as well. Something I'm not to used because I just thought he was slowing down because he was getting a little older.

I definitely see a difference in the way MVB affect a chameleons metabolism and general appearance of being healthy. Whether he is more healthy or not is up for debate. I also did 2weeks with him outside which was positive as well but I only did 4days each week. I know a few high end chameleon breeders who do use MVB who actually turned me onto the use in the first place a few years ago. I also do have a UVB meter so I am not saying everyone should run out and get one but it definitely helps as I rotate my lighting and my Cham was on a hunger strike which it appears these bulbs snapped him out of.
Thanks
