I have a large window in my room, she does get natural light.
I live in Ontario, Canada.

Well, I guess that's good for ambient lighting, but I was just wondering if you were able to get her outside in the unfiltered sunlight. But probably not very often since you live way up there.

I see a lot of chameleons come through here in different stages of MBD. The shaking is one of those signs. It sounds like she needs a boost with calcium like Neocalglucon. So the sooner you can see your vet the better.

Shes still a little jittery.. Some times I'll catch her acting like she has to poop, flexing and I checked her vent and the edge is flipped out a little :S

Sunlight passing through glass is not providing UVB. UVB is no good from a light either if it passes through glass.

You said she's shaky...this can be a sign of calcium issues. Does she hold her body up off the branches when she walks? IMHO the insects should be dusted at most feedings with a phos.-free calcium powder.

Has she shown any interest in digging in the substrate? BTW...I hope she hasn't ingested substrate and become constipated or impacted. I'm concerned about this because you said that she seems to be straining to poop.

I'm also concerned about this straining to poop because she could prolapse...and that's often a death sentence. Difficulty pooping can also be a sign of calcium issues.

IMHO you need to get these issues dealt with asap. They can crash suddenly if they give you warnings that something is wrong and its not corrected.

Now her tail is rotting, I just came home tonight looked over at her cage and my hear sank.. Got up to check and her tail is rotting really bad.. I feel like sucha failure

Did you ever provide a place in her cage to dig in case she needs to lay eggs?

The calcium/D3 is only needed twice a month if the chameleon has exposure to UVB from the light and may not be needed at all if it gets exposure to direct sunlight. UVB should not pass through glass or plastic.

Now all I can say is the same thing you've already been told for over a month....get her to a vet ASAP!

I had taken her to the vet the first time, they told me to start dusting every feeding. (I'd only been told to do it twice a week at the Reptile Zoo I got her from). They also advised me to get a screen enclosure, which I have. She seemed to be doing well, no more shaking, eating well etc. Then this just seemed to have happened overnight, I would've taken her to the vet today, but I worked.. Unfortunately. I'm going to take her tomorrow. Any suggestions in the mean time?

Where exactly on the tail is this rotting happening? In your pics she is heavy with shed. She probably had some left over on the tail and it cut off the circulation to the rest of the tail. If it's just the tip I wouldn't worry to much about it. Just keep an eye on it for secondary infections. If it's closer to the body, the area of damage is larger, increasing the chance of infection and possible pain/discomfort and should be removed by a qualified vet.
