sealant???

what can I use as a cage sealant for wood? I need it to be water proof, but not a cham killer.

I've used Olympic clear waterproofing sealant from Lowes before. It works well to waterproof wood. I painted the wood first and it yellowed the paint a little though.

3x Coats of Poly - Let it cure for at least a week before putting your cham in. With a nice glossy finish on the poly, it looks fantastic with a few coats.

it will cure much faster with a fan blowing on it, and will also help to pull a lot of the fumes out
