how much UV does screen block out?
I plan on letting Stickers stay outside for at least a few hours during the day in a screen enclosure. Will he get what he needs from the sun through the screen. And if i put the reptisun on the top of the screen cage will it be ok. I have alway put the uv light in the cage (heat light outside) with my other reptiles but i just read here NEVER put the light on the inside, I just want to make sure i do what is best for him.

yes, lights on the outside, not in and a few hours of the florida sunshine will do him a world of good. Yes, even if he is in a screen cage outside he will get enough uvb. I live in FLA too and have my chameleons outside everyday for sun. When is it cooler out they spend pretty much the whole day outside. I still have the uvb light on their cages inside even though they get a ton of sunshine outside. It is more for the days when they can't go out like when it is raining or too cold.
