Screen vs glass and drainage

I just got a male veiled and pretty soon, I’m gonna need to upgrade him to a bigger cage. I hate reptibreezes but am willing to get one if need be. My questions:

1. What size glass exo terra would be good for an adult?

2. What do your drainage systems look like for screen and/or glass?

The Exo Terra 36x18x36 is the largest glass enclosure you can get from them and the only one big enough for a panther/veiled.

Glass you need a way to drain the water out of the substrate layer. I have a pvc pipe in mine, but I have yet to need to use it with my Exo Terra.

Screen, you can just use a drip tray or cut a hole in the floor to drain into a bucket.

In a year or two, I'd like to make a custom builtin enclosure that looks sort of like Brody's but will be split in half to house two chameleons.
