I am still thinking about building my own cages. I realize the 1/16th inch screen has problems with nail damage and 1/4 inch will let out smaller feeders is the 1/8 inch screen safe for medium chams such as Jacksonni of flapnecks or will i still be risking nail damage. my female loves to climb her cage since i got her. i believe screencages.com's larger screen is 1/8" can anyone verify this

Thanks

any thoughts?? This thread is getting real lonely. How about screen cage bottoms instead of expanded pvc??

I run a set up with 1/4 mesh, custom made by me. Home depot sells clear vinyl sheeting by the foot. I ran a few strips around the bottom and thumb tacked them into the wood. Keeps them in if they last that long! My Jackson wastes no time to eat.
