scratching her eye on a branch???

I have a vet appointment for Tiny at 1:00 Monday afternoon because she doesn't want to seem to open her right eye, which is causing her to not eat (i think). I have seen her drinking a ton though. Just a minute ago, i saw her scratching that eye on a wet branch. Does this mean irritation or trying to clean it, etc.? I'm super worried because she's my first long-term cham (the first one didn't last long because she was sick and wouldn't eat a thing when i got her from a pet store). Since my first cham didn't last, I've been so worried. Is there anything i can do until monday?

Have you tried giving her a shower if she does have a piece of loose shed in her eye it could help her clean it out. If not hydration is always good.
Shower - Another method of providing water, especially to dehydrated chameleons, is by using a shower. Place a large plant in the tub, aim the shower head against the wall, and run the water so that only a fine mist reaches the chameleon. The water should be room temperature (not hot!). They may drink for up to 30 minutes. Make sure to supervise your chameleon at all times while using this method.

Is she in the same cage the one that didn't last was in? If so did you clean the cage and everything in it that you reused well before putting the new one in it?

Im still concerned about the window being close to the cage. Does it get down below 55F at night outside?

Good luck with the vet!

It's the same cage but I cleaned it well and everything that was in it. I've cleaned it twice already as well as getting new stuff for it. I live in the south so it never gets below 55 at night, at least not now. She's doing really well other than not opening her eye. I'm just ready to figure it out tomorrow so I can relax a little lol

If the vet says the window Is a problem then I can move her into the corner of my desk. I'll certainly as about it
