I wanted some Pygmy Chameleons...particularly Rieppeleon brevicaudatus. I once had a 20 long aquarium that was unused but at that time I didn't want to invest in some yet but now it occupied by my hatching Diamondback Terrapin and now right now I don't necessarily have space right now and at this moment I do want to invest in a pygmy chameleon now...LOL

But I was hoping to redo my room again and have space for a desk and a small 18X18X24 terrarium for pygmy chameleon someday this year...FOR SURE. Before I get a desk and everything...I do have a 55 gallon aquarium in the garage that is still not occupied by an animal that I got from Petco aquarium sale. It was one point to house my reeves turtle but now I decided that he will go into the outdoor pond this spring. Now I bought the aquarium for nothing and I even waste more money to divide the aquarium with a plexi glass to make a land section. I was thinking that I will first build a DIY plywood pond for more turtles (yes, I love turtles so much) and save the 55 gallon aquarium to house the pygmy chameleon in their and also make a stand to put the aquarium on top of the indoor pond.

But my main concern is...can Rieppeleon brevicaudatus stay in the garage? This garage is not very well insulated and my mom park in the garage and I am worried this species is sensitive to air quality like the commonly kept chameleons and it gets hot inside in the summer. If not I guess I will wait a little more until I get myself a desk and a terrarium to house them in. I don't have room for the 55 gallon aquarium to put in my room nor inside anywhere in the house.:(

with an insulation issue and high temps I would avoid it. Pygmies are sensitive to overheating especially.

Then I will wait till I redo my room.:)
I wish I could have appropriated space somewhere for this aquarium. Might as well sell it then.
