I've read on this forum that schefflera's branches are not strong enough to support the weight of an adult male veiled chameleon. Is this true? What's your experience with this plant and your veiled chameleon?
Schfflera's are wonderful plants to have in your enclosure. Lucky has been crawling up and down his for years now. I provide horizontal branches for him, but the plant takes up the majority of the enclosure. It's much more stable than the ficus I change out with every 4 mo or so.
My male veiled is almost fully grown and has no issues with his schefflera. I have a few vines that kinda weave in and out throughout the plant just in case he needs a stable grasp.
