Scheduled or Hygrotherm Mistings?

So I have a hygrotherm which I connected my mist king too. The mistking comes with a pretty advanced timer as well. I am currently not using it. The hygrotherm I would think is ideal because I can set a certain humidity and the mistking takes care of it. Being the winter months and the dry heat produced from my HVAC system the Mistking probably turns on every 15-30 minutes for about 15-30 seconds at a time. Everything seems to be working great.

I am just concerned that it is annoying my chameleon. I have a nosy by panther and I can't tell if hes running from the mistking spouts or running to the water droplets it's producing.

So it makes me wonder is it better to just let the mistking do its thing 3-4 times a day or turn on more frequently in small pulses?

Another concern I have is about the hygrotherm working at night. If that shouldn't be happening I probably can't use this thing. With it you can configure a night time temp but not a night time humidity.
