Scenery change up?

Hi all.
I know chams are generally creatures of habit but we know they love hitting up foliage outside of their cages.
Having found my escapee 15' from his cage exploring makes me wonder if anyone changes up their cage decor on any regular basis and how does the Cham react?

I rarely change anything in the cage. The only thing I do change is pulling plants and replacing when needed. But they always go back into the same spot. I find any disruption to his normal pathways seems to stress him out. So branches are always left in place.

I haven’t changed decor other than swapping out plants when needed. My panther seemed upset when I had to remove his weeping fig because it was growing out the top of his enclosure. Hopefully once the hibiscus I replaced it with will grow well and he’ll have a tall bushy tree to hide in again. I have been entertaining thoughts of replacing their dark faux backgrounds with white pvc sheets, but not sure if I’ll ever do that.
