Scared Of Locusts

Purchased my boy some medium locusts a few days ago to give more variety in his diet as he will only eat crickets and wax worms (treat) and nothing else.

I put 4 in today at about 10AM and let them free ranged and it is now 7PM and still there but he keeps running away from them even though they are a manageable size, the space between his eyes rule so ended up catching all four and throwing them in my water dragons cage to eat. So he still ended up having his crickets which he gobbled up

Is anyone's cham scared of specific feeders? Try my best to give variety in his diet but can't if terrified of certain feeders lol

I havent had that problem, but my cham is weird with crickets. He likes them for a day or 2 and then he refuses to eat them. What the...

I know this is the second time he's been afraid of them, when he was smaller, about 3-4 inches, I bought hatching size and he even ran away from them LOL

chams go on hunger strikes. NTM they can be scared by new foods.
which is why we try to mix up the feeders we give, so they dont get bored with one type of feeder.
