Cham still hasnt been eating. He wont eat free rangers because cage is massive and he wont eat from hand or cup. i have resorted to going to lowes and am going to be building Jdogs 18x18x36 cage from his Tutorial on youtube. He just needs his feeders to be active around him. Also still no shed almost 6 weeks but i did notice his skin very white today ready for shed but i know it wont happen until his belly is full and he can get his skin to pop
Any suggestions as to what to do when i get him in the new smaller cage

How long has it been since he last ate? Cham's tend to loose their appetite when they are getting ready to shed ! And if they are free ranging and his cage is too big he might not be able to find them.

the cage is simply too big for him to find them, it is also wood not screen so feeders couldnt even climb. Also, i used a deli cup and a 2liter feeder cup( sunny D death) and no luck. I am going to resort to free ranging them again. hopefully will build the cage tonight and get him back on track.. he basically is free ranging.. he has more cage then he uses right now but cant find food. Id say its been a week since hes really pigged out. I know once he fills up hes gunna pop a shed like crazy

I'm having a similar problem. Bout to make a new thread of it but I'd like to see what works for your Cham, maybe it'll also work for mine

Will he not take feeders from your hand? That's prob your best way till you get him in his smaller cage

he ate from my hand once, and i think my reaction may have reversed the positive step we took that day in trust LOL

Haha! I remember the first time zuggie ever took a cricket off me when he was a baby ! I was amazed !! Try to hand feed him grab the cricket by the two back legs so it wiggles like crazy and if he is hungry which he's gotta be then he will snatch it just move slow stay still oh and prepare for an achey arm :p
