A few months back I found a 6 month old panther male at a dingy little pet store near me. His tag was 275!!!! He was in a little what looked to be a 2x2x2 cage! I tried to offer the owner a better place for the little guy be he wouldn't take anything less then 275. so I kept on eye on him stopping by the store about every two weeks and about a month ago I wasn't going to my shop as much so I wasn't passing the pet shop. something told me yesterday to go check in on this dude. I am happy I did. His cage looked terrible and he had no water source in sight *they used to have a water fall even though I tried to warn them about it* He didn't look like hes has drank or eaten anything in a while not even a UVB light for him! I said this little guy has a bit of mouth rot and is very dehydrated and needs vet help plus a better cage now. The owner said he very sad for him to be so lethargic and skinny. He told me to take him and give him a life he should have. So Yesterday I brought him home and he weighs as much as my Panther sniper did when he was 4 months old. This guy is now 9 months old!!!! I gave him a bath he started drinking immediately and fed him some dusted crickets. I will be his forever home.
first time in a bath and loving it!!
After his bath he looked bright white and more active! He Loved his bath time.
Sniper was happy to let Steve crash in his cage while we get another one. So Sniper (my male panther) slept on the free range.
By morning Steve looked right at home. Eating and drinking from the mist king.
I let him on the free range for the first time and he went bonkers! he has never had anything to climb all over without limitations! even Snipers cage must have felt like a mansion!
I will kept you all updated and let you know about the vet visit. Take care of that little rot he has coming and he will be back to fighting shape just like Captain America!
