Looking awesome!!! If you can get a pic of the tail bases I may be able to sex them. I definitely have a male and female. My male is now finally showing a thicker tail base.

Second pic male. The first one Im even more up in the air than the second though. They really are hard to sex. Full grown males dont even have much of a bulge but the tail base is thicker. Ive scoured the internet for every picture I could find of them to try and get a better idea on the differences.

Well, here is mine today. Weighs 56g. Been told it's at male. What do you guys think?

I think yours is a female. Do you notice the indent at the tail base? My female has had this since I got her at a TINY size while the male never had. The male is clearly a male now and is starting to get a bulge instead of just having a slightly fuller tail base. Plus the horns on my male are bigger while your animal has always been ahead of mine.

I thought yours was male all along but now I am pretty positive female and almost full grown at that.

Thats what Im thnking.

Al, thats about the size females horns will get.

Tod, you may have two males. I cant really decide on the first pic. Look for that "indent" that Ponders' has. Thats the only thing Ive been able to find to sex them with.

Talked to Chad today and he still thinks male:confused:

I have NO idea:confused: the large base of the rostrals, the blue toes, the pattering and the spikes on his back all look male to me, but the size of the cham to the development of the rostrals is what made me think female. My male had MUCH larger rostrals at that size. These guys are all too hard to tell. I also saw my guy leaving sperm by that size:eek:

Here is a picture of my male at about the same body weight as yours Tylene. maybe 5g more than yours.

I have noticed that a male's rostral is parallel to his lips, by looking at his profile and a female's rostral is at more of an upward angle.
