He is quite large! A bit feisty so I haven't weighed him lately, but he is beefy and over 20" long! The Oustalets live outside here on my lanai-the coastal Florida temps are real close to the coastal Maddy temps and they love it! They always acted too cool in the house. Can't get them to breed-she is very receptive and he has NOOOO interest!
I do not think that your bitaeniatus is boring at all, any more than any chameleon is. You are quite lucky to have her, and I would love to keep this tiny precious species again.

Oh-I love her just the same in all her "boringness", and that would not be in her appearance, but rather in her non-movement! I feel lucky to have every single beautiful unique animal that I have.
