same gut load for all ?

little leaf

today I have to make up more gut load for the roaches, crix ect..- my ? is... the wet is made up of many things, but when I blend it I make each blender a little different - like I will use squash, peppers, dandelion leaves in one blend, then pumpkin, berries, oranges in the next batch, I freeze this in " layers" in 1 gal zip lock bags, so they nerve really get the same thing twice, I feed one layer, then the next, and so forth - ( know what I mean  ) and the dry is all the same, but my ? is.......... if I feed this to ALL my gut loaders, is this giving my chams enough verity - even tho they are eating dif/ feeders, the feeders are all eating the same thing at the same time ~ I give the wet to the snails, roaches, crix, supers, even the horn worms will eat this - but I spend more time feeding the feeders than the chams  right now, I feed each batch of feeders different foods - but this is taking FOREVER - so is it ok to feed the same gut load to all ?
sorry is this is confusing ( I'm confused too   ) thanks

I feed the same dry and wet gutload to all bugs, but I vary the ingredients weekly or bi weekly. The bugs will digest the foods differently and so long as you vary it you should be fine.

Hi Cheryl, Teddy said hello too. :)

I use the same fresh veggies but Steve makes three different kinds of Cricket Crack.....one for crickets, one for super worms and a montane crack.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D :D :D HI TEDDY , and you too Jann :p

as almost embarrassed as I am to say this- I can not afford to buy ( my $ is all in vet funds, that I refuse to touch :p ) , so I have to make  but I use all good stuff , and try to use nothing over a 12% protein in my dry mix - I have a friend who also makes roach food, and sells it, and has it tested - so I am going to see if she will test a batch of mine to see just what I have total when its done -

ok, yes, they get dif/ things at each feeding, the way I break off the frozen food , it puts a bit of everything, but not the same amount each time- after what has happened in the last few weeks, even things I felt comfortable with before, I am now nervous of - I still feel such guilt , even tho I was not here- that has destroyed any and all confidence I have :( I just can not seem to get over losing Olive, and all the rest - I still cry almost everyday, Dave tells me ( as kind as he can ) " you are going to have to get over this, she is gone, and its nothing you did " - but that does not make me feel any better :(
I feel like I dont even know how to feed my feeders anymore :(

I don't think its a problem that all the prey are getting the same thing - your layers mean you are changing it up. I think most of us do similar.

my base dry gutload for crickets and the different roaches is the same.
I have a different base dry gutload for the superworms and mealworms, but its got some of the same ingredients.

Even the fresh stuff tends to be the same - all the roaches, the snails, the terrestrial isopods as well as the mealworms and supers (and if I had any the crickets would also) get carrots and blueberries today, yesterday it was apple and dandelion, day before that was sprouted mung beans and red romaine.

I understand about questioning everything because of Olive. Very sorry - I know how it feels to loose them and to wonder if it was something you did or didn't do / blame oneself, even if its really not your fault. hang in there; try to be gentle with yourself. all you can do is move forward and keep doing the best you can.
