Sambava has Gular Edema

After all the visits , medications and forum postings, i concluded with the help of my breeder and other very helpfull members in the forum that the Samabava has a Gular edema, and probably a bit over weight. He now keeps hsi right eye open the entire day without putting any Gentamicin drops or anything at least this cleared out. I am still giving him daily showers which help him to get well hydrated. I stopped giving him supplements about two weeks ago and since then he has been looking healthier. He still moves around a bit lethergic but is movign well. I havent seen him eat on his own yet i tend to give him crickets and superworms by hand which he eats easily , should i do this daily or every two days i dont want hime to get use to me placing his food in his mouth . Also my bb ambilobe tend to close his left eye but he has no edema that is noticeable, i also stopped giving him supplement around the same time , i was giiving him Gentamicin drops daily for about 5 days but they finished so no he is closing it back again more oftenly, i was thinking of giving him another week of drops what you think. The BB ambilobe is around 9-10 month old, i think the this one might need more suplement or you beleive is the same cause i feed them at the same time with same supplements, but i was dusting preety heavily on them, the crickets turned white which i learned lately that it is bad. This one has been eating on his own but not as much.

What is the best way to deal and correct the Edema on the Sambava and the possibility of the BB having it.

Age 9- 11 months BB and Sambava is 1.1 years
Cage : 2 X 2 X 4 Screen
Water : 3 daily 4 minute cycles of inline water system with timer.
Lighting : Natural Sunlight
Branches : Falmboyan Tree Branches
Plants: Pothos, and Umbrella Plant
Temperature 85 High - 71 at night
Sumplements: Herptivite , Rep Cal D3 and Miner- ALL Red Cover every other day alternate them.

Probably oversupplemented. I'm not sure what your supplementation schedule is from the info you posted. Its a bit confusing.

As a regular schedule, I would limit the minerall and herptivite to once a month each.

Cal without D3 2 times a week .

Cal with D3 to once a week.


But immediately , I would discontinue all supplementation for 10 days.
