Sambava Girl Lost!!!

If she was that gravid you might even wanna look around the bases of the shurbs in your yard since they like to lay near roots. Look for upturned soil or test holes. She may have left the free range spot to find a better digging location than her laying bin thats in her cage. My female did this about a week and a half ago when i was free ranging her before she laid. However she was on a potted tree out back and just tried to dig in the dirt in there and didn't escape. Good luck finding her though.

I FOUND HER!!!!!!!! She was half way to other side of yard!! on the vines!!! I took pics, will post soon!!! THANK GOD!!!

I was picking up dog poop and looked up and there she was!!!!!!!!

Glad to here it! Kind of ironic... you were pooping a brick about loosing your cham, and found your cham while picking up a brick of poop!!!! Glad she's safe and sound!!! Take care.

Jason

Getting on late with this thread, but I just can't refuse to comment. :p

No, no, BAD Brye, for leaving your GRAVID Chameleon out like that. Yes, I am guility of the same thing, but that isn't the point, now is it?

Congratulations on finding her!! Whoo HOooooo. Man, you lucked out big time in that jungle backyard of yours. The little buggers move when they want too ,,,darn chamoflage.

Okay, so I jerked your chain enough for now, get back to working on that large backyard cage you were planning on building.

But chameleons can't hear.

Chameleons can't hear???

How come when I shake their feeders in the cup my chams come to the side of the habitat that I am on to eat? Have they just become conditioned to "watch" for the feeder cups in my hand? I have always thought it was the noise of the shaking cup that attracts them! LOL!

OMG! They really can't hear???? So, I don't have to turn the TV down anymore when they are in the house??? OMG! LOL!

I really didn't know that... :(

Sorry to get sidetracked on your thread Brye... I hope you find her! I've lost a couple in my time and it truly sucks... But I did have a Veiled that got away back in February just show up in a front hedge about three weeks ago! So there is ALWAYS hope! :)

EDIT: OK, so I SHOULD have read to the very end before posting the second part... but I am SO GLAD you found her! YIPPEEE!
