salt or sugar - what is your preferred float

salt - or sugar- I hate the salt float - how it crystallizes so fast - does anyone use the sugar ?

I have 23 to run - and if they sit to long in the salt, the eggs start to drop too - dose the sugar give you a longer working time? - my vet will also get them too- so a centrifugal fecal flotation can be done, but I just like to look too and keep an eye on things -

my chances of getting all to poop in a nice orderly fashion so I can collect it- HA ! I am taking what I can get to the vets on Tue/Wed -

Salt is your best best. Use the three best fecals for your needs and let the vet deal with the quantity drop off. Honestly if one has parasites they all do at this stage. Doing individual fecals would be a good idea once the animals hit the 4 month mark (March) since then you can see who the three doses of Panacur worked on who still might need some assistance as an individual.
