What r some safe waterproof sealants that i can use to finish off my wooden cage I built?

Multiple coats of polyurethane (for outdoor use) will work. You want to avoid anything that has heavy metals (like stuff used for pressure treating wood) or volatile penetrating oils because they can leach back out over time. Whatever you use, make sure it has time to cure completely before using it. The cure time should be listed on the can, and check whether you can smell it.

+1 It's really imported to let the cage cure and air out in a well ventilated area before putting your cham in it and be sure to check for chemicals like Carlton said. If you aren't sure when you're shopping for the sealant ask the sales person for something that you would use to refinish an outdoor dining table that way it should stand up to water exposure really well and shouldn't have any harmful chemicals since it will be getting eaten off of. I used simple Rustoleum polyurethane but I made the mistake of buying the aerosol version that costs twice as much and covers about half as much as the little brush on type cans of the same stuff. I've also used Olimpia Multi-Surface Sealant that is 100% waterproof, 100% acrylic, and is made to work on wood, stone, brick, tile, etc that way if you plan on making anything else for your cage like a fake rock wall (like I did) you can use the one product for all of it.
