Safe or not?

Are mint plants save to put in my veiled chameleon enclosure? I love the way they smell and they are beautiful pants! Thanks!

Just spent the last 45 minutes searching for an answer. Its not on any toxic plant list for animals or humans alike. I'm not saying its 100% safe but it has to be close. Just keep in mind that people have been known to use mint to ward off pesky lizards in their gardens, so the odds of your cham even liking mint may be slim to none...

I have seen allot of people using mint in their gutload so i'll think that it would be safe to use in your enclosure.

Don't be so sure - we eat mint fairly often and I used to have a patch growing outside the back door. My iguanas like it quite a bit- it's safe.
