Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - HE is a 6 month old Panther chameleon, male, and he's been in my care for about 2 months.
Handling - I handle him about 2 times a week to three
Feeding - I feed him two hornworms a day, one in the morning and one in around one o clock. I feed him around 13-14 large-medium sized crickets a day and one roach. I gutload my crickets and roaches with dandelion green, flukers calcium cricket diet (for the crickets) and a roach diet I got from the breeders of the roaches (for the roaches) and then they all get tangerines and flukers water gels.
Supplements - I use herptivite twice a month, repti-calcium w/d3 twice a month and then repti-calcium without d3 every other day.
Watering - I use an automatic water system, I have it programed for every 3 hours for 30 seconds, and yes I have seen him drinking.
Fecal Description - Colors are normal stark white urate and dark brown to black fecal depending on what time I notice the actual dropping.
History - I think he was constipated a week or so ago, nothing too bad though, a few hornworms fixed it.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Three glass sides with a screen top and screen side. Dimesions are 18x18x36
Lighting - I'm using an exoterra compact uvb bulb, and a zilla white light day bulb, I keep it from 8AM to 8PM
Temperature - I know that the basking temp is 82-84 degrees farenheit I have a digital probe thermometer. I don't know the bottom temp and the lowest that the temp gets in the house is 65 degrees farenheit.
Humidity - My humidity levels rest from 65%-75%, I measure it with a dial humidity reader. I maintain humidity with the automatic mister.
Plants - Yes, Hibiscus, and an Umbrella Tree
Placement - It's near a window in my room, so no high traffic, it is at eye level.
Location -California

Current Problem - Ryker has been opening his mouth to gape a lot lately, but when I'm in the room he has it closed so I can't tell whether he has an URI or not. I can't hear the popping sound because I never see him open it. There also appears to be something white in his vent, I'm not sure if it's a sperm plug or not. Any help will be appreciated, I will try to get pics up later today, if he's cooperative XD

His saliva looked a little stringy with the last one I got to sneak a peak at, the white thing was a sperm plug XD was worried about that for nothing.

Well respiratory issues are common with Chams. The visit and meds for my little guy was 85 bucks for all. So it's pretty cheap and he will come around. Pascal was taking deep forceful breaths but they are slowly dimming down and he's getting back to his old self after on 5 days of treatment

I have to get him out of the cage and listen to his lungs, because he was right by the lamp when he was gaping and then he has hardly any saliva strings. Is any saliva at all normal? I will take him in immediately if I have to just don't want to stress him out too much and stuff. Plus I'm not really sure what caused it yet...

Some saliva is normal but its not really in eye sight or something you would really notice. If its under the basking light maybe it's too hot ? I have my Chams out all the time and that's how I noticed something was wrong immediatly

Ok ^^ I will take him for a check up then I do worry about him an awful lot so it wouldn't hurt to get one and put my mind at ease

Exactly, it's a great feeling every green flag a vet gives. Chams can be so stressful and can worry us sick lol Good luck !!
