Runny urate?!

Help! My veiled chameleon had white runny urate today and i have no idea why.

I have seen that on occasiion also. I don't think it is anything major to worry about.

you may want to vary up that diet a bit. not the greatest food sources.

On of my most consistent "life theories" is that everyone is entitled to one bad poop without people freaking out....if the runny urates keep happening, then look into what might be behind it. If the next few excretions are normal, don't worry about it.

stop feeding him worms for a few days, feed him something else and see if you notice a difference..

My female was "running" today. I think it's just being super hydrated, as I feed silkworms. I'm happy with excess water being expelled as she is healthy otherwise. I'd be more worried about dehydration with a yellow/orange,dry urate.

I feed him very few worms... crickets that are dusted daily.. and red leaf lettuce.

Runny urates arent something to worry about, Its just excess water, meaning your keeping him well hydrated. You only really need to be concerned if the actual poo is runny.
