Runny poop

Hey guys! I have a seven month old chameleon and I have been feeding him mixture of crickets do be a roaches and maggots. I noticed that his ear looked normal, but his poop was a little runny after feeding him maggots is this normal?

Ok so when you say maggots... What exactly are you feeding? And what do you mean his ear looked normal but fecal was runny? How runny? Where did you get him from?

And omg I just realized it said ear it was supposed to say urate!! Lol
 
So it wouldn't be from the diet your feeding. But you can have runnier fecal and urate if your misting too much or fogging at night too much.

I just adjusted my fogger at night so I’m hoping that will solve this issue. I think my misting is good because it’s on a timer and it goes off for 3 1/2 minutes before lights turn on and 3 1/2 minutes after lights turn off.

Make sure you have cold enough temps to support the fogger being run at night. Really want it close to 65. But should not be running it if it is hotter than 67-68.
