Rubbing on glass??? (emergency)

So my cham has recently been rubbing his chin raw on the glass of his terrarium. He is in shed at the moment and I know that sometimes they will rub to start shedding, but he does it all the time regardless of when he sheds. I am very concerned for his safety. I have attached pictures.

Hi reptar0729,please increasing your misting time,so he can be easier shed out his old skin:)
Yes, he's shedding, but do you see the huge scab hanging off of the front of his chin? He keeps rubbing only his chin on the glass and its freaking me out because its so raw and he keeps reopening it.

He has a very specific misting schedule for when he's shedding so I don't think that is the issue. :(

The reason about replace the glass screen is a)the cham can see its own reflection,b) it wont increase the air flow inside the tank,c)it promote more bacteria inside a closed enclosure especially when you misting lots water in there, hope this helps:)

There are plenty who have glass enclosures with no problems. How about just making sure that the set up is correct for the enclosure type.

How big is this cage? If he's too cramped he could be rubbing out of frustration. I can't see the whole cage but that's one of the first things to consider.

Depends on what type of glass tank or vivarium?and if u look at the pics,it looks like a screen top aquarium tanks, its not recommended by the experience veiled keeper, along with a bad rubbing cham inside, plus the RI is waiting to be happen!!thats why I suggest the screen cage for the cham, and do you use a glass tank on ur cham too@gotwqqd???
