Rotate Pics

No pics but I have a question about pics lol. I've got a few pics that I've posted that show up rotated 90 degress either to the left or to the right. Is there any way that I could rotate them to look like there supposed to while posting them?

Yes!
You need to open the pictures in your computer to do this.
What OS are you running?
Do you have a photo editing software?

I hate to ask but what do you mean OS ? And I doubt I have a photo editing software; computer crashed little over a month ago and got it back with practically nothing on it.

Hmm, that may be an issue then.
Sorry:eek: Operating System, like win7 or win95 or apple;)
Try finding the pic on your computer, right click the file, and click: Open-In/With
See if it gives you an option to use a photo viewer. You should be able to rotate it in most.

Or you could just post them sideways, and laugh menecingly as you rest assured that everyone who read the thread, tilted their heads at your whim!
Muahahahahahah!!!!!!

I mean, thats what I would do...

The always classy Solid Snake :D. I'm working on it to see if I can't rotate em.

Hahahaha I got it!
Thanks for the help.
I actually seen Open-In/With but that wasn't it. So I tried Edit and that sent my pic to Paint. Here it is:

Lot better than the original where it looked like he was hanging upside down :D

Hahaha! Didnt know paint did that:p
Yes much better!;)
While we're on the subject, thought I'd ask a couple more questions. 1st: whenever I go to post a picture I go to the attachments and a new window labeled Manage Attachments comes up. I'll click Browse and it brings up my files of all the pics on my camera. When I created the new pic rotated 90 degrees I saved it as a new file, so I still have the original. I wanted to post both pics to show the comparison but when I clicked Upload on Manage Attachments for the original it stated "You already attached this file in thread : " and whatever the thread was. My question is since it stated that how will I be able to upload any pictures to a different thread, or to an album, that I have already uploaded and attached to another thread? 2nd: I've noticed on most pics, including all of mine, that they are attachments and you click on them and they pop up at a moderate size. How do you post a pic, or place one in an album, that is huge; one that takes up a massive amount of space? (I've seen a lot of mine blown up and they don't blur and the detail looks fantastic on them)

To re-upload pics you have already uploaded...
...sshhhh(I rename them, then it lets me upload them. It takes up space though)......

:p

Now, to overide the attachment tool when you post, you will need to upload the image elsewhere, (like photobucket.com) then it will give you different code that links to the picture, to be used in various circumstances.

You will only need the one that has these tags around it

You take that code, and just copy and paste it into your post!
I will put an example with spaces so it wont show up, then Ill put it without spaces, and the pic should show;)

Alright I'm gonna tackle these questions one at a time now lol because now I got more. You say it will take up space by just changing the name and reuploading them. I've noticed the bar that shows how much space has been used and how much is left. Do you know how to go to the pictures to post them or put them in an album without reuploading them and if not do you know if the space bar gets completely filled will you be able to delete pics to free some space back up?

Alas!
These are things I do not know!:(
I have not reached my max yet.
It just increases more though as you become junior-member-senior ect.
(I believe anyhow)

Maybe someone else knows?

The only time I tried to post an album here, it was glitching on me and freaking out, so I dont know anything about that.

Ok I'll just reupload the pics and see how that goes. Now to the second part, I've never used photobucket so could you kinda take me through the process of how it all works. I know you described it in a previous post but I just want to make sure I got everything.

just butting in here  How do you do this magical rotation on a mac?
Ok there's a few steps and I'm not sure it will work because
my computer crashed a little while back so it's only got the
basics. So everything might not be the same as on your comp
but we'll give it a shot :D.
1st bring up your picture files.

Then right click the one you want to rotate and click edit. When I did this it sent my photo to Paint. From there you go to Image and click Flip/Rotate. Now the Flip/Rotate box will appear and you'll want to select Rotate by angle and then click 90 degrees and then OK. If your pic is not straight up and down, or how you want it, click 90 degrees until it is positioned to your fancy. After the pic is how you want it, click File and then Save As. You have to rename the pic so all I did was leave the original name and to the right of it added "rotated" :). Once it saves, exit out of Paint and go to where you want to post a pic. Click the Attachments option and then Browse and Upload on the rotated pic. Then insert the pic into your post. Post a pic when your done so I can see if I helped at all :D
