Is it normal for a baby chameleon to be rolling around in its egg? Is this a sign its haveing problems trying to hatch? One of my eggs has been rolling around for the past two days, its like it can't slit the egg..

And idea's

I have seen eggs move around when they are close to hatching time. It could be that they are "struggling" to get out of the egg. I have done anything to these eggs but let them hatch "naturally".

Thank you for responding!!!! So basically if they can't get out of the egg then they are basically gonners, no matter if I help it out or not, right?

Part of the problem with helping them is that we don't really know what day/time they should actually slit the egg...so if they are struggling and its too soon the baby might not make it anyhow.

Of course, the other side of the coin is...if they are supposed to be slitting the egg and can't they will die trying. Its usually said that if the baby can't get out on its own, it won't likely be strong enough to live anyhow.
