Rockos Dehydration

Rocko the cham

hey guys lately my Ambilobe Panther chameleon has been pretty dehydrated. the tip of his poop is constantly orange. i got the guy a fogger which keeps his humidity up but the little guy still poops orange. he also has a dripper ( but i havent seen him drink) and i also spray the cage 3 times a day. either way he is still dehydrated. iv also tried giving him showers but when i do, he just tries to escape and does not want to drink off the leaves.

what should i dooo ???? i want rocko to be healthy!

Try putting the drip directly over his head and let it hit his nose. I have found that if you position the drip several different ways to him, you will most likely find one way that will trigger a drinking response. Once you know how he likes it keep it that way or move it around again until he starts drinking. If you have the dripper coming through the top screen and can't move it, use a cup with a tiny hole poked from the inside. Hornworms and silkworms are great for hydration so try to get some of those for the short term. Hope this helps.
